Welcome Jess, Emily and Louie!

New faces join the Fotonow team

10 September, 2024

This summer, we’ve welcomed three new team members to Fotonow, and they’ve hit the ground running – making valuable contributions to our projects and programmes!

JESS SCOTT  joins us as a media producer, specialising in film. With a background in both documentary and experimental work, Jess is passionate about the intersection of filmmaking and community development here in Plymouth, having grown up in the city herself. She is currently leading the Silver Screen project, our POP Collectives collaboration with Plymouth Arts Cinema and the Red Velvet Cinema group, aimed at engaging older people in filmmaking.

EMILY FLETCHER  has joined as a media producer with a photo focus, and has been delivering our programmes for young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). A graduate in fashion photography with a strong interest in mental health and wellbeing, Emily is passionate about sharing photography’s power as a form of expression. This summer, she led our SEND photography masterclasses with Plymouth City Council Youth Service, and will continue this work in an autumn programme of sessions.

LOUIE WARREN  joins Fotonow as a film intern, contributing to various projects while developing his skills across all areas of production. This has included working with Helen Round, creating marketing films for their sustainable, ethically produced products. Under the guidance of Jim Baldwin and Ross Sinclair, Louie is gaining hands-on experience with editing, cinematography, and production management, as well as supporting some of our community programmes too.

We’re grateful for Jess, Emily and Louie’s hard work since joining the team and we’re excited to see what they’ll bring to Fotonow moving forwards!
