Crescent Group Enjoys a Wellbeing in Nature Day with Greenwood Music

Last month, Fotonow’s women+ photography group Crescent, took a break from their usual creative sessions at Ocean Studios to visit Greenwood Music CIC for a special ‘Wellbeing in Nature’ day. Held at the peaceful Caradon Woods, the day offered an opportunity for the group to step out of the day-to-day and immerse themselves in the natural environment.
The group was warmly welcomed by Aydin and Phil from Greenwood Music, who shared their expert knowledge of outdoor skills. In the morning, they led a relaxing whittling session, where participants learned the art of crafting from wood. Afterward, the group gathered to enjoy a delicious, fire-cooked lunch prepared by their hosts.
In the afternoon, the group took a ‘mindful photography walk’ down to the river camp, which sits at the heart of Caradon’s 40 acres of ancient woodland. Surrounded by this serene environment, participants used their cameras as a way to notice and engage with the nature around them.
Thanks to Aydin, Phil, and the Greenwood team for another beautiful day – it was great to return after the success of our visits last year.
