Fotonow work on FotoFlash photography project in Barne Barton saw a finale exhibition for some of the young people tonight. The works on display feature various projects that have formed part of their Arts Award work and in coming weeks the group will be moving towards running a community photographic newsletter with Fotonow.

This evening saw our final session in Plympton working with young people from the area on the Take A Shot film project. A group of young people from Barne Barton have been learning about the techniques and processes involved in using Digital Cameras, these young people have developed skills comparable to professional photographers. The young people as part of their Silver Arts Award now have to exhibit some of their work and explain the techniques involved to people from their community, they would therefore like to invite you to an exhibition of their work on Wednesday 8th August between 6:30 and 8:00 pm in the Tamar View Community Resource Centre in Poole Park Road.

The group in Barne Barton worked on presenting for their Arts Award qualifications this week, while developing plans for final exhibition next week. The introduction of some new Holga lenses was also something that allowed a few experimental images to be made!
