Synopsis: The Natural Connections Demonstration Project was a multi-partner education research project coordinated by Plymouth University over four years. The project explored the benefits of outdoor learning across both primary and secondary education, and supported teachers in 125 South West schools to develop outdoor learning programmes.

Brief: The film celebrates the culmination of the research project and highlights the key findings. [/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Impact:” tab_id=”1529666043347-201c5bf3-2f98″][vc_column_text]Our Approach: We visited schools across the south west to present a range of views on the outcomes of the project, and highlight the variety of impacts the four year programme has had within different school settings. With the project gaining significant national attention, we also recorded interviews with senior decision makers, including the Chair of Natural England, the Chair of the Forestry Commission and the Under Secretary of State for the Environment. We presented these interviews alongside the views of students and teachers, to give a strong cross section of opinion.

Impact: The film screened at a major celebration event, and is now accessible on Natural England and UK Government Websites. [/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][/vc_tta_accordion]
